OUR ETHOS

At the core of our approach is a commitment to understanding the science and physiology behind canine behaviour. We focus on evidence-based methods that consider the biological, psychological, and environmental factors influencing behaviour.

By examining these underlying mechanisms, we can address the root causes of behavioural issues rather than simply managing symptoms, ensuring more effective and lasting results.

In order to achieve our goals, we rely on fear-free, positive reinforcement techniques..

We believe that dogs learn best in an environment where they feel safe, respected, and understood. Fear-based methods can damage trust and cause unnecessary stress, and therefore we do not advocate for these techniques. Our approach, grounded in both scientific principles and compassion, sets us apart from others in the field.

We’re thrilled to help you and your dog create a stronger bond built on science and compassion.

About Mystery!

Hi there! I’m Mystery, your canine behaviourist committed to using science-based, fear-free training techniques to help dogs and their owners communicate effectively and build strong, trusting bonds. I hold a Certificate II in Animal Care, have studied under the RSPCA, and earned my Dog Training Behaviour Certificate (DBTC). I’ve also completed several STSK9 courses, all of which provide a solid foundation in modern dog training practices.

I have a love for rehabilitating shelter dogs, and have unique insight into transitioning rescue dogs into a ‘normal’ life.

My training philosophy is based on positive reinforcement and techniques that prioritize the emotional well-being of the dog. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where dogs can learn at their own pace.

If you’re looking for a dog behaviourist who is passionate, knowledgeable, and committed to your dog’s welfare, I’d love to work with you!
